CGC comic fees changed on 6 January 2026

By the PopJunk Serials desk. Published

CGC's news post on its 2026 price updates puts the new fees into effect on 6 January 2026 for submissions made in the US. An online form completed before that date kept the earlier pricing if the books reached CGC in Sarasota, Florida by 20 January 2026.

The post lists Vintage Bulk, at $42 a book with a 25-book minimum, as a new tier. It also lists a $4 fee on each shipment sent through the submitter's own shipping account. The other comic fees it prints are Modern Bulk $27, Modern $30, Vintage $45, High Value $105 and Unlimited Value at 4% of fair market value with a $135 minimum.

The post does not print the earlier fees, so it supports no before and after comparison. International pricing is described as announced separately.

The tier-by-tier table, worked totals and membership math live in the CGC comic grading cost guide, and the grading cost calculator totals an order.
